What is the delivery rider medical exam?

Delivery apps that work in food and food products must now make sure their delivery riders do a special medical exam and get a health certificate. The Ministry of Health has approved a number of health centers across the Kingdom to do this exam — and Medical World Polyclinic is one of them.

WHAT IT INCLUDES

The exam has two parts: a physical exam and lab tests

PHYSICAL

Physical (clinical) exam

Blood pressure check
Careful check of your eyesight and hearing
Check for skin, sexually transmitted and nervous system diseases
Chest — a simple chest X-ray to check for tuberculosis (TB)
Digestive — a stool test to look for infectious germs and parasites

LAB

Lab tests

A blood sample is taken to check for a number of diseases and to confirm your vaccinations:

Diabetes
Viral hepatitis (liver infections)
HIV/AIDS
Confirming vaccination against: tuberculosis · typhoid fever · hepatitis A

Is the polyclinic approved to do this exam?

Yes. The Ministry of Health has approved a number of health centers across the Kingdom to do this exam, and Medical World Polyclinic is one of them.

What does the exam include?

Two parts. The physical exam includes blood pressure, eyesight and hearing, and a check for skin, sexually transmitted, nervous system and chest diseases — with a simple chest X-ray to check for tuberculosis — plus a stool test for germs and parasites. The lab part is a blood sample to check for diabetes, viral hepatitis and HIV/AIDS, and to confirm vaccination against tuberculosis, typhoid fever and hepatitis A.

How do I get my result?

We upload your exam result to the Ministry of Health’s Seha platform, and you get a text message with the result in a short time.

Do I need to come back to collect the result?

No. The result is uploaded and sent to you — no extra visit needed.

We arrange back-to-back appointments for the delivery company’s team. For companies, we sign an annual contract and issue a VAT invoice.
